Listening to the Predators fans chanting gives me chills. That's what this game needs more of. I hope other fanbases are watching this and thinking of their own chants. It's so powerful when it's done right.

its a big thing at NCAA games... i know Michigan has a bunch of chants too... some not exactly family friendly...

not sure how easily it can be recreated in more traditional markets though... maybe LV can adopt something...?

it is really cool though... but i think anyone doing it other than Nashville wouldn't sound as good

Go Preds! Love the "It's all your fault" chants.

Matthias Ekholm is a stud. He'd be a #1 guy on a lot of teams in the NHL.

The Blackhawks kinda do something like that when they chant along to Chelsea Dagger. But I like the specific chants the Preds fans do. It can be unnerving for a crowd of nearly 20 000 people scream you suck when you let a goal in. I imagine it would be hard for a goalie, no matter how cool they are under pressure. I'm sure even Kipper would have had a hard time drinking from his water bottle after a goal in these playoffs.

How anyone could ever hate Luongo is beyond me. I hope he goes into broadcasting after he's done.

Charles Barkley on the American broadcast right now. He equated this Nashville crowd to the Bulls crowd in the old Chicago Stadium in the heyday of Jordan et al. Said he was blown away by the fans.

I don't think anyone really hated him. When he was on the Canucks, Oiler and Flame fans didn't cheer for him because of the team he was on. He's a funny and classy guy unlike Kesler, Bieksa, Burrows, Cooke, etc. Those were guys and still are guys who it's easy to hate.

Anyone catch Charles Barkley on NBC during the break? Pierre Larouche? (I think he meant Paul Coffey)

I'd be more shocked if he got anything right about hockey. He's not the sharpest guy ever, even when it comes to his own sport.

i'd imagine there's a few fanbases with things like that we don't know about exactly that happen during commercials.

I think for "purist" fanbases it might be hard to catch on... but new ones without a lot of hockey tradition, its just something fun to do during games... College games it works because you have the college bands and the band leaders to organize things... here's the University of Michigan version

https://youtu.be/96T38kVvQyE?t=40s

its pretty awesome to hear though... didn't think i'd like it as much as i do

I thought he meant Pierre Lebrun cause he was interviewed by him earlier and then they said what about Mike Milbury?

Sportsnet hire Charles Barkley right now to take over Ron's job!

Give him as much as he wants!

Imagine Barkley and Cherry together on Coach's Corner. Amazing.
