It's probably good Elliott gets some rest anyways, he's been playing a lot. Got a feeling Tkachuk will play, he's a gamer. I guess we'll see though. I believe he got injured at the end of last game? Can't remember what exactly happened.

Bruins fans on HF Bruins are pretty confident. Even tho Johnny has worked that team constantly over the last 2 years. Hold the Marchand line to a quiet game and it should be a win. Easier said than done but the other lines Boston rolls out are pretty meh.

Elliott's had such a good run that I had to check when Chad played last and how he did.
Johnson posted 2 GA and stopped 36/38 shots (.948) from a Panthers team that was heating up at the time IIRC. Feels good to have such a reliable backup.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but I like to think the Bruins do this because they hate Chiarelli

I love the Bruins hate for Chiarelli. It's comical

I think it's smart to start the backup in the first game of a BTB. Hardly anyone does it, though.

I have equal faith in The Chad and The Moose, feels great to have solid tending again. Get a win for Johnson boys!!

not interested in sound hockey strategy. Much rather it be petty, spiteful rage; I want Sea Bass to kick the tar out of Chia, Pete in a bathroom stall

I feel like I keep saying this, but could be a bit of a let down game after besting the Penguins and tieing the franchise record. Here's hoping they come up fired up to play and beat the record!

They're going to lose eventually.
The key is how they respond after losing. All of the teams that went on long win streaks this year seemed to crap the bed after except the Wild.
The Flyers crashed and burned after winning 10.

True. By worried, I didn't mean "Oh no, the Flames will never win again! Fire everyone!". I just meant, I'm really worried the let down might spell the end of the streak

With a change in goal and maybe in the lineup, there's some good reasons for them to get up for the game. And they know Edmonton won their game last night so they can put a little distance between them with a win.

GG seems to pretty focussed on how the team is playing - win or lose. If they keep playing the right way, there should not be an extended losing streak.

They traded Dougie Hamilton to us to spite Chiarelli - we're never going to see Rask play in Calgary again.
