Im obviously biased but i think its a travesty he isnt in the HHOF and its criminal how the media has all but ignored he and his teammates accomplishments of the early 60's.

I remember playing ball hockey as a kid and pretending I was Lemelin. We used to do the commentary and stuff as we played. "Lemelin, with a big save..." I remember some guy overheard us, came over and gave us a couple of old goalie sticks. good times.

Roger Crozier- most acrobatic goalie I ever saw. Made Hasek look like an oil painting.
Gary "Suitcase" Smith- on more than one occasion would take the puck and skate past his own blue line with it.
Johnny Bower- granted I was young when I watched him but he always looked really old when he was playing.

I've seen plenty of great goaltenders but none were ever as dominant as Hasek in his prime. I will never forget the 1998 Olympics as Canada simply couldn't beat him. He was unflappable and unbeatable. I feel he's one of those once in a 100 year players that we may never see again.
