Not even sure what he was doing there. Hard shot, at his own net. Wow.

That may be the most decisive own goal I've ever seen.

Oilers only way to lead a game is to have the other team rifle it in their own net.

I wish it wasn't against the Oilers, because after Laine's interview last night, I'd really like to enjoy that.

Well, that was something. I guess Laine felt like giving Edmonton some free points tonight. Thanks for nothing, Jets. You suck.

Did he think he was in practice?

Must be. I mean... I dunno why else he'd do something like that.

Did he give a brief celebration? Looks kinds like he fired it into the net on purpose.

Ha ha ha. Top shelf!

Too bad the Oilers benefit, but that's still a beauty. Poor guy.

I have officially scratched the Jets off my list of teams that are in the picture in the western conference.

So that leaves 10

Oilers will be next, I'd imagine

Remenda being nice to Laine. If it were the Boston telecast they'd still be laughing.

Jets had too many good players to be this terrible yet outside of one season in Winnipeg they have been just terrible. Boo hoo they had to play 7 games in 11 nights. Flames had a stretch where they barely had any nights off.

I just rewound it to see if you're right - and I think you are! He fires it into the empty net and then - just for a moment - begins to celebrate.

Then it's 'oh, ####'

That was not a clearing attempt.

Are the Jets always this bad? The team has no clue what to do in any zone they blindly fire the puck around and chase.
