I'm sure he's thinking long and hard about extending Johnson.

So in other words... We should extend out Johnson.

Jokipakka had a quiet, solid night. Hope to see that every night from him. Being physical along the boards and in front of the net. Some smart, simple plays in the offensive zone too.

funnest game in ages, and definitely funnest this season. very satisfying to see the puck bounce their way tonight. they were due.
having johnny back also completely changes the complexion of this team. i hope this means that we won't have to grind out 3-2 wins the rest of the year. he's dangerous every shift, and i have a feeling he and bennett are going to do a lot of damage together. you can add that on top of our 1b, possession monster line, and the much improved team defensive play and solid goaltending, and our better players figuring things out. i am excited to see if this team keeps growing.

Jesus, if Gaudreau-Bennett-Chiasson actually work out that's 3 pretty solid lines to roll out there. Stajan on the 4th with Ferland and Hathaway/Bouma is pretty darn good as well.
What crazy puck movement. Crisp, tape to tape passes. That was a great game. Never once was worried about the ducks threating just a dominate game all around.

Too bad we didn't get 10 on these jerks. God I hate the Ducks.

Treliving walks up to Johnson and reaches into his pocket
"Stand back while I whip this out"
Johnson steps back and Treliving hands him a contract.

Yeah the Flames look like they have 3 lines that can be rolled, a solid 4th line, a good top pair, and great goaltending right now. That's a recipe for winning games.
Rent ourselves some defense for the playoff run and this could get fun

I had to watch a delayed stream due to being at work...
...but I think this gif accurately expresses my reactions tonight:
5-1?!
6-1?!
7-1?!?!?!
8-1?!?!?!?!!!!
Then the Ducks scored two but we won't mention that part....
This was my favourite moment of the game:

I hope Hathaway stays on this team AND remains in the lineup when Bouma returns.

Flames murder the Ducks.
Brady becomes the winningest QB of all time.
Oilers still lose.
Today was a good day.

6 of the next 12 games on the schedule are against one of the Coyotes, Avalanche, or Canucks...
Flames could end up going on a bit of a run here
