Dyson is doing an event and all dealers have that price, ex: bad, bath and beyond. Also the regular price is only $100 more and is regulated like Apple.
So no panic, this is a bit of a dishonest sale price

We have one of these Dysons, and this thing is amazing. We have hardwood on our main floor and this thing is a game changer. I'm a guy and I'm proud to say I love this thing.

I have one of the original Dysons and it works great but the wife prefers a lighter, portable version.
is this slim version worth the pick up?

If you're in the market for a hammer drill / impact gun this deal at Home Depot for a DeWalt is pretty hot IMHO.
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.2...000708309.html
- 3 batteries, a charger, drill and driver is a pretty solid price at $199. The batteries themselves almost cost that much so you can think of the drill and impact guns being thrown in for free.
- hammer action on the drill is nice at this price.
Should be plenty fine for DIY usage. I don't think the torque is quite enough for breaking lugs for tire change over but a $15 breaker bar will be better anyways.

Any good deals for furniture? Looking for a nice leather couch, checked out the Brick but everything still seemed very pricey

Visions with a dishonest sale price? They're the masters of misleading deals. At least with this vacuum you know what you're getting relative to the other electronic chains.
When it comes to most electronics they're the kings of selling three to four year old models for "OMG, $400 off" the price it sold for four years ago, when the reality is Best Buy discounted that model the same amount.....four years ago.

And for a place that pays on commission you would expect their sales staff to have some semblance of knowledge of the products they're selling.

I'm looking at picking up 2 TVs
1) Samsung 55' UHD 4K UN6290. Walmart has it on sale for 998. The same TV at Visions is on sale for 1197.99
2) Samsung 75' 1080p Smart LED TV. Best Buy has it on sale for 2300. Visions has it priced for 3000.
I was going to use Visions as a friend had a contact there who was offering cost + pricing, but after doing a little bit of research, I think I'm better off just avoiding them and going elsewhere.

^What's your complaint with them? They did my car audio install and were fine. I also bought a TV from them and nothing's gone wrong with it, so I don't really have any experience on this end.

Well apparently they're a bit dishonest when listing sale prices. Can't remember where I saw it so don't have a link but apparently the sales price on the latest Dyson Vacuum is a bit sketchy as they're listing it for $200 off when in reality it's only 100, and all dealers have that price.
OH WAIT IT'S RIGHT ABOVE AND YOU COULD HAVE JUST FOLLOWED THE THREAD.

Yeah no I get that, but that's such a minor issue. Tons of places do that. Hell, Amazon had a pair of headphones listed at 50% off yesterday that I took a look at, searched for the model number and found out that that was the regular price on Best Buy. That sort of thing doesn't really bug me, all you need is a web browser to compare prices and find MSRP's.
His comment that the store is "awful" led me to think that he might have a bigger complaint about them, and they don't seem to have a great rep, but I don't really know why.
Maybe ease up on the snark... unless it's your stress outlet or whatever. If so, glad I could help.

Super slimy pushy electronics store relic from the 90s - no clue how it's still in business.
Did you want the extended warranty with that?
