ESPN might be different. They are stable for a while, but animate during parts of the play.

Gaudreau skates in by himself, rings it off the post. Gaudreau beats every teammate back and recovers the puck in our own zone. Gaudreau hustles around his own net and blazes up ice bringing ooohs from the crowd. Gaudreau goes offside. Crowd cheers him on for his 400 ft of domination on the ice.

Jim Hughson's reaction: Gotta admire the speed of team North America.

If that was Matthews or McDavid, they'd still be talking that individual effort now, at the first intermission, at the second intermission, after the game, and at the start of the next North America game.

One day McDavid will score that short side backhand goal. He's only tried it 230 times.

Jeez Rinne. This has happened four times now. Get it together.

Kind of a lame game as it's pretty close except Rinne being shaky on covering the puck twice. Now they don't really have a shot at coming back.

Schiefele pushed the Finnish player onto Rinne. That shouldn't count.

That should count. The defender has to hold his ground and not get plowed over.

one referee should have seen that during the actual play.

What? No way that'll count. Defender doesn't have to hold his ground.

Care to cite the rule book? I think MMF said it best....

I don't know if it should count, or not, but it shouldn't be something that should be revewable.
