Overholt with 5th! Really nice work for her considering her hamstring injury. If she gets her breaststroke a little better she will be in the medals. Really impressive work for an 18 year old. 5th best in the world!

I think if everything goes as planned, the women's swim team is on the right track and should challenge for medals in the next olympics. Once again though, hopefully some of the men come through again.

Oh, and I realize this is not Olympics related, but the Eskimos just lost in CFL action.

I've always wondered about the heavy winter coats that the swimmers wear out to the pool. Is it to keep their muscles warm or is it just to look cool?

That was an awesome race. Poor Friedman, just can't hold a candle to Armitage, but he did well.
