how the how?

seems a lateral deal, a trade to shake up both teams and change of culture

This is even more shocking than the Hall trade. What is Bergevin thinking?

Good God since Subban was on the market why didn't Edmonton trade Hall + Eberle + whatever + keep salary for him?

I can't get over how bad this trade is for Montreal. Shea Weber is not the same Weber of a few years ago.

PK Subban is a game changing type of player in my opinion.

Michel Therrien is the problem with the Habs.

Love it for Nashville. Weber is amazing but probably won't be for much longer

When did Weber become the new Wade Redden?

Nashville got the more dynamic player, but Weber is a stud. This is a definite win for Nashville but it is far from a landslide.

It's crazy that Hall for Larsson isn't the most one sided trade of the day.

Bergevin is garbage. I'd be furious if I was a Habs fan. This would be like trading Gaudreau for Parise.

Uhh how is Subban more dynamic than Weber?

Subban can score a ton and hip check. Weber can score, play physical, play defense, etc. Basically anything you want.

I'm waiting for the Canucks to lose a trade but I realized they can't trade anything good because they're that awful

First caller on TSN 690 Montreal. "This franchise is dead to me." She was in tears.

I don't agree, I think its a close trade. They are close to the same age(27 v 30) but Webber adds more to a team.overall and he is a lower cap hit. Habs need more of a presence back there. Subban is what he is, he is not going to get better but he adds a bit of offensive dynamism to the Predator team and will bring in more fans.

Subban goes from the worst tax location in the NHL to a state with no income tax.

He immediately gets a 10% raise.
