Hah, it needs to get purchased!

Whatever car we decide on will definitely go for an inspection first. GF will be getting a loan through her bank. We talked to many dealers about financing but there was always some fee. Documentation fee, financing fee etc. Borrowing the money from the bank we've decided is the way to go even with a bit of a higher interest rate.

Hoping that one of these cars tonight work out and we can kind of get it conditionally sold depending on the inspection. I'm leaving for Oregon tomorrow so shes kind of on her own after that.

So, to put a neat little bow on this thread the GF finally bought a car yesterday. It’s been a long 2.5 months. This has been one of the busiest summers of my life and finding time to go car shopping was nearly impossible.

Anyway, she bought a really well taken care of 2009 Honda Fit Sport. One owner, synthetic oil every 5,000km, spotless, pristine with 90,000km on it. The mileage and the year had me a bit concerned, but she loves this car and said it was her favourite to drive and checks all the boxes of what she was looking for. Has summer and winter tires/rims, automatic start and she took it to get inspected and came back extremely clean. Brakes are tires are all 80-90%. So I think we came away winners on this one.

Thanks for all the input.
