If Johnson is out, and it looks like he is, the Lightning have 10 forwards for two more periods. Lots of guys will be playing huge minutes tonight.

Nice rebound for Palat on the power play, 2-0 Tampa Bay.

Man, this Tampa team is all kinds of resilient. Missing Stamkos and Stralman, no problem, make the conference finals. Lose Bishop and Johnson, still go 2-0 up in this game. So deep.

Yeah, I really underestimated the Lightning coming into the playoffs.

Didn't see the first two goals - tough shots? Murray looked unbeatable against WSH

Yeah they play a good system, get good goaltending, and are opportunistic. That said it's just game one and the Penguins haven't been as sharp as they were against the Capitals.

I'm glad Tampa decided to keep Drouin.

Drouin scores on the partial 3 on 1 with Palat getting an assist and second point of the game.

Hornqvist with a great shot scores on the power play for the Penguins, 3-1 Tampa Bay after forty minutes. The last minute goal could carry momentum into the third period.

Great save in Vasilevskiyan fashion! Matt Murray has a good stop soon after.

I love there depth. Filipula, Druin and even Boyle and Callahan, combined with a great system and Hedman; he looks like a Drew Doughty with more size.
