San Jose's skill and speed is a totally different story from Anaheim's size and cycle game. Nashville's depth doesn't seem to match up.

On the reverse angle, it looked like Burns knocked the puck down with a high stick before Ward's goal. Will there now be a call for reviews on those as well?
If we're reviewing offsides, which are much less likely to directly lead to a goal (not that the high stick did directly lead to a goal in this case), we should be reviewing high sticks and glove passes too. Of course, I'd rather not review offsides than to also review high sticks and glove passes.

Couture broke his leg and Jones was overplayed after beng a career back-up.
Preds score...maybe they can tie it.

The Predators need to stay out of the penalty box or vastly improve on their penalty killing.

Looked like another high stick. Did a Predator touch the puck?

I am surprised that Laviolette pulled Rinne for the extra attacker so soon.

How was the ref not going to call a penalty on Weber?

I love that the skilled more wide open teams ... San Jose and Dallas ... Both won and I hope they win their respective series . I can't stand the style of play that Nashville and St Louis use.. So boring ...

No discussion? This series is so much fun. Rinne just absolutely robbed Couture and Donskoi.

Hockey is better. This should be obvious.
There's probably a good thread topic somewhere in there about fans who love the home team more than hockey itself but meh, Pavelski just about scored so put a pin in that one.

George just had a little segment with a close up on Matthews' face when Arizona was shown in the draft, and when Toronto got #1. I think the draft has gone a little too far, holy crap that was creepy.

I think since McDavid's look of disgust last year, this is going to be a thing for all the Canadian teams who pick first overall from now on.

Basically he was a bit disappointed his hometown team didn't get him, and mildly pleased not to have to go to Winnipeg.

That visor without a doubt saved Vlasic's vision right there. That was a Weber slap shot right to the visor.

Scary to imagine what would happen without the visor. That was crazy.
