Stick with the Jeep bro. Among other reasons, the unit you describe will cost way more than 9k to properly restore.

Primed up my crappy body repair for paint. All I care is it doesn't rust under the corner guards going on.

And while I wait for it to dry I figured I'd replace the heater blower motor, which sounded like a chain saw and had no power left. I think it took longer to open the box, than the actual motor replacement. NICE! $82 bucks for an after market motor and 5 minutes later, the thing actually blows harder than a hamster fart. One nice thing about Jeeps, most repairs are very accessible. I had to spen 2 days ripping the dash out of a S10 Blazer one to replace that blower motor.

Figured I'd spend some more drying time replacing the shifter knob with this kick as tire tread knob I found. I almost punched myself in the face yanking the old one off, but luckily, like most fights I've been in, I missed. Now I don't have to wrap my hand around CC's knob every time I drive it:

Got a ton done today. Replaced the e-brake mechanism:

Finished my poor boy paint repair. Nice match Duplicolor lol.

Installed the drivers side corner guard and rear bumper:

Looking sweet I'd say!

Lights.

Snorkel.

Bedline hood/grill/rockers black.

Side bars.

Neoprene seat covers.

And I'm gonna ditch adding the flat fenders, and add a 1" coil spacer instead. All the weight added front and rear will make it settle. When he's in there, I'm gonna have them put in sway bar disconnects as well.

Looks like a brand new vehicle with all the additions. Love the black trim fenders and hard top. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Looks good, will you have to replace the 3rd brake light because of the larger spare?

Ironically funny, or showing off your nails?

Aren't you legally required to have mud flaps that cover half the wheel, or something?

True, but it's not really enforced. Vehicles roll off dealership lots every day that aren't even technically road legal. Calgary police have straight up said they don't really enforce that. RCMP might, might make an issue of it
