That was a lightning fast (and quiet) period.

You're not wrong, but problem with the slashes on Gaudreau is that it happens constantly and never gets called, and the team never has a response for it. Really frustrating to watch.

Chopping at the guy with the tip of your stick is a little different than a trip.

Both penalties? Sure.

One is a hockey play, the other is cheap bush league stuff.

Some flurries in front of both goalies...a lot of pace to the period...'Hawks bobbled a couple chances with open ice, and look generally, sloppy with the puck. SN guys making fun of Rozival, not covering the guy he was supposed to, he has done that all year.

Bollig is here to score goals. Don't get it twisted.

Flames fan...I was NOT excusing Keith...Toews and Kane get the same BS, especially vs. Blues and Kings, just saying that random officiating stinks, and calls need to be made.

I'm so glad I'm not an NHLer. If someone did that to my guy, I'd break my stick over his arm then steal his stick and repeatedly crosscheck him on the same spot. Repeatedly.

very fair comment; happens all the time; most fans get in an uproar when it happens to their guy. Monahan slashed Toews in the hand, but no one here noticed

I know you weren't excusing Keith. Just trying to show why we fans want some pay back. Not because it was a missed call, but because it was cheap.

We both hate seeing our best players hacked and whacked without consequence. I hope the Flames (Bollig, Ferland, etc) do something tonight. The season is over, no need to play nice anymore, nothing to lose.

Bollig too much of a wimp to go after anybody. Completely useless out there.

You'd think he would realize with Bouma, Ferland, and Hathaway he doesn't have a spot next year as a regular 4th liner.

Man...I wanna spew! The BS deal for Lecavilier makes me angry! Getting a guy to agree to NOT play his whole remaining contract is low! (BTW...I am watching the Flames feed for tonight's game)

Dont worry, toug hguy Bollig will probably facewash him late after a whistle in the 3rd or something

Or like with Manson he'll ask someone to fight after a cheapshot, the opposition will say no and Bollig will say "Ok thanks anyways have a good night".

Let's face it, Bollig's going to cost us a penalty instead of standing up for his teammates.

Heh...Vs. the 'Hawks, you can afford an instigator penalty, our PP stinks!
