It is a nuclear meltdown on the Canucks post game show on why the Canucks are unable to score.

Midway through the second period, it is scoreless in the Blues-Sharks game. San Jose has a 18-8 lead in shots.

Could not agree more. If it's not the Flames, it may as well be Iggy.

Well with their own draft picks yeah. But Hamhuis should've fetched something pretty decent back. I don't think Radim had big value.

Both UFAs walk and the Canucks get nothing? Some reward.

@DarrenWHaynes
Habs, Blue Jackets, Sabres and Jets all winners tonight. #Flames are an Oilers OT win away from a near perfect night of scoreboard watching.

I'd rather have an ARI OT win! Edmonton isn't passing us.

The Oilers haven't won a game in regulation against the Coyotes since January 25, 2011.

Oilers lose 4-2 and McDavid gets first star for 2 secondary assists. What a joke Sportsnet.

Their lack of moves appear to be helping them solidify a top pick, as they've been WORSE since the deadline...hence, they shall be rewarded

Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver all taking a serious run at the bottom. Toronto could legitimately pass some or all of them. How pathetic would that be?

No way we finish behind these losers. Let's just hope that CBJ, Arizona, Montreal, and Buffalo keep their #### together enough that we can finish ~5th. Worst case scenario, we draft 8th, which honestly isn't that bad because it means that none of those turds mentioned above are drafting top 3.

Of course, I have hopes that they pull their heads out...but...somebody's got to slap Q out of his uncontrollable urge of dressing Rozival. The guy cannot cover NHL level LWs anymore, and to trot him out on either special team seems pure folly.

I've made peace with the fact that Flames will be drafting about 8th. Way too much tankage going on at the moment.

If some magic happens on lottery day, I'll be pleasantly surprised. But I certainly won't be disappointed with any other outcome since I won't be expecting anything else. I guess secretly I'm hoping that the universe rewards the Flames for not outright tanking and they move up a spot or two, but the math only allows for a fools hope.

Russell needs to be healthy for playoffs or else Stars success is irrelevant to the Flames. Hopefully no big deal.
