I'm not a STH, but honestly the move doesn't impress me that much. If they really wanted to show community spirit and helping those who have come upon hard times, why not LOWER the STH renewal pricing by 10% ?

Then I would be impressed.
I was a little confused by that. Was Francis just sucking up to the organization? I just assumed it was a business decision by the Flames. Team stinks, economy isn't good, which means demand has got to be down. Charging an increase for a product that is not good and is no longer in demand is not a good business decision.

If STH's are leaving in droves, then I could see a decrease in price (if they were smart).

I heard that the price for the boxes were reduced during the season. Can anyone verify or deny that?

Yeah it was Francis trying to paint the Flames like they were doing some sort of good deed by not raising prices. It was almost painful to watch if you ask me.

Terrible team and crashed economy but yes Francis, the Flames are such heros for not raising prices.

Not gonna lie though. That is the exact reason why I believe my final year as a Flames STH will be the final year the team plays out of the Saddledome.

I'm not sure how the overall renewal has gone but I have cancelled 6 tickets for next year in the second bowl. Tough economic times combined with a bad team in a crap facility was enough for me to walk away.

Anyone get dinged with a $25 processing fee? Is this normal? I don't remember seeing anything about it, or seeing it in the past. Or am I way off?

Has anyone received there relocation email yet for a time/date? The initial target I had on my email when I registered was to submit my intent by the 13th and the 24th to 27th was when the event would go down. I assume this means we will receive the information something this week. Just wondering if anyone's received there's?

Has anyone heard what the renewal rate is like this year? I'm hoping it's lower than usual due to the obvious. I'm also hoping more people on the hot house list pass on tickets this year and wait until next. I'm 992 on the hot house list. Any insight would be truly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I talked to my season ticket rep and she said the email was going out at the end of the day. That was on Tuesday so it's been delayed for some reason. I think you can expect the email today or tomorrow and the event will be next week.

For those on the wait list for season tickets, there are a total of 937 seats available presently. There are more single seats than I was expecting. If you are down the list like I am, our best hope will likely be expensive tickets and those that are a few rows away from each other.

My friend gave me his log in so I could look around at what is available.
