If the boxscore is correct, it looks like Kesler got a 10 minute misconduct for his actions at the end of the game. Doesn't make much difference, but it does serve as a reminder to the rest of the league as to what a underhand player he is.

Ducks aren't as far back as some of you guys seem to think...they have games in hand on lots of teams and could easily go on a run

Best possible outcome is Kesler broke his nose and Wideman gets suspended.

Wideman not getting an instigator tells you all you need to know about what a d-bag move that was despite what Cox and Sutter think

Means nothing everyone know how he is. Hes not a rookie.

Should be a suspension.

Bieksa played 25 minutes of that game. Let that sink in a minute.

That was one of the worst games Calgary has played all season offensively. I was at the game tonight and have a few comments:

- The only goal the Flames allowed all night was the direct result of a terrible turnover by Colborne in the neutral zone.

- Why Hartley continues to put Wideman out on the PP baffles me. I don't know what else to say at this point.

- Hudler is completely disinterested this season. After the Flames timeout, he looked like he didn't even want to be back out on the ice and just gingerly skated into the offensive zone for the faceoff. Last season, he seemed to be more of a leader out there and would be pointing out to guys where to setup and stuff... Maybe I'm just looking too much into it.

- Ramo played well tonight.

- The Flames had a couple of great chances in the game but Gibson stood tall and made some crucial saves early on.

- Kesler is a POS plain and simple. Firing the puck into the net after the final whistle was completely unnecessary and someone should have flattened him. (I know Brodie gave him a bit of a shove into the boards). He was also blowing kisses at the Flames bench on his way back to Anaheim's bench after the skirmish. He's a grade A loser and I hope Karma bites him in the ass one of these days.
* Just saw the replay and liked Wideman's response. *

- Sucks to see the Flames drop two points to a divisional opponent, but at least Arizona and to nobody's surprise Edmonton lost. They better regroup and be ready for LA on Thursday night or they will get shelled.

That was a stinker but the Flames have got their character back this month. They'll be a different team against LA.

Hartley playing Wideman on the PP is most certainly very baffling, why Hartley why? What do you see that no one else does? One thing clear to me is the Flames as a team are too small, I fear this will become very apparent playing the Kings.

Wow. If that was every hockey game I would be a soccer fan. That was just brutal to watch. I think I officially hate the Ducks more than the Canucks and Oilers. Bunch of players that need a good face punching.

The order for me would be Edmonton, Anaheim, Vancouver.

Tough game to watch we just didn't have any space out there. Ducks didn't do much offensively.

Loved Wideman feeding Kesler at the end for that empty net

That game was a learning experience for our young core. The Ducks want to play boring 1-0 hockey and clog up the neutral zone.

Catch us once with that game, shame on them. Catch us twice, shame on us.

I expect the next tilt we learn from this game and figure out how to make entries and get the puck to the net.

I don't think the Flames played small at all tonight.

That's the kind of crap that the league needs to get rid of. Least entertaining game of the year by far by the lets play five men back all game Ducks.
