For sure. This was the first time all season it felt like last year's team to me. Hopefully that's a good sign. But if they lay a stinker Friday then we know nothing has changed. Hamilton plays against his old team, hope he has a monster game.

if the Flames played like that, and had their record, I'd still be highly pumped.

entertaining game, solid effort (although I did miss the first where we got pumped...)

Hamilton to put in the best game of his Flames career against the Bruins Friday. You heard it here first folks.

Dougie's best game.

Brodie-Dougie top pair is gonna look good.
Gio was better but he can still be way more.

I don't think you get a GWG for shootout but could be wrong.

Mony played well but he had a couple of terrible mistakes. The 2nd goal started when he was undressed and made no effort to get back into the play & he had the worst line change I have seen in OT this year.

The amount of shots he got in tight was promising and its only a matter of time before they start getting through again!

Woke up both cats and the dog. Might have woken up my wife 500km away in Vancouver too.

Watta game!! Felt so frustrated for the guys in the 2nd. Good for them to keep on coming on strong. Reminds me a bit of that crazy LA game last year.

Hamilton's going to make the premature negativity and skepticism he's faced seem increasingly more ridiculous as time goes by.

Neat coincidence:

The last time the Flames came back from a 3 goal deficit in the third, the tying goal was scored by Staios who wore # 27.

Dougie Hamilton tied the game tonight and he shares that number.

If the Flames can manage to run the table at home, they only need 4 wins on the road the rest of the season.

My Three Stars

1 - Brodie: Was an absolute force. This guy is becoming an Elite #1 in the NHL. His skating and intelligence can control games!

2 - Monahan: Monahan was back to battling for pucks in front of the net, could have easily had a couple goals. He got a couple of nice assists instead.

3 - Hamilton: Hamilton was hard for Dallas to contain when he jumped into the rush. He played his most physical game as a Flame. Was rewarded with the tying goal!

HM - Bennett: Kid was a force tonight like he has become every night. He will be our best player one day.

I could sense the complete comeback the moment Backlund scored. It was a feeling of floodgates finally opening.

That was a great win. I am going to drink some water now.
