Call me crazy, but if I'm a Riders fan, I'd rather have Dressler than Getzlaf as part of my receiving core.
/I mean, I can't think Dressler is making that much more than Getzlaf.
Edit: Just realized Getzlaf is a free agent, so he might not be back either with the Riders.

Agree 100%, but Getzlaf is Canadian. Passport means a lot up here.

Can't have 2 guys make 10% of the cap, especially a non QB. EDIT: with a little more thought I'm not sure this is necessarily true. Certainly the releases give the new regime cap flexibility and I've been expecting the Dressler release since Jones got hired. Small players aren't really Jones' style when you try to build a bully. All his defenses/teams as long as he's been in the league have been bullies
Sounds like the Rider have signed Shawn Lemon, younger and should be as good/better than Chick. On my phone or I'd post the tsn link
