Told the injury to Connor McDavid is his collarbone.
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
No official word on McDavid injury until Wed a.m. but it's believed to be a fractured collarbone.

Disagree with the colour guy. He was not taken down he caught an edge and his ankle gave out on him. Derp!
It's a hockey play but Manning was beaten to the outside and he started to grab McDavid's leg/pants which may have contributed to Connor losing his balance.

I'm torn... on the one hand McDavid is a heck of a talent and seems like a genuinely good kid so I feel bad for him. On the other hand the Oilers have a disproportionate number of obnoxious turds for fans so I'm kind of happy that their undeserved new toy is broken.
I remember the feeling right after Gio got hurt last year when we didn't really know the extent of the injury but we expected it to be serious...it was pretty awful.
I hope he comes back soon. I'd rather beat up the Oilers with McDavid in the lineup than without.
Oh for crying out loud, the kid's been hyped for three years now, is living up to the hype and he just got seriously injured.
Of course TSN is going to plaster that everywhere. That's what people are going to want to know about. They sure aren't going to give two spits that the Flames outplayed another team and allowed 4+ goals again.
Hate the Oilers, but get over your insecurity complex. Calgary and Edmonton are exactly the same goddamn place.

Watch Hall's point production come back to reality now that the top defensive pairings dont have to wory about McDavid any more. Yak will be same old Yak again too.
