Remember the days when all the flames had going for them was an elite 1st line rw and godlike goaltending? Feels like an eternity ago. Now that's all this teams missing

Now this is the team we've been looking for. Much much better. Wideman/Russell still need to become last years versions of themselves but practically everyone else (not in net) looks good.

Why the hell was Hamilton at thr goal line ?? All 3 forwards were already up in the slot on Johnny's wrap around attempt.

Watching the replay on God the puck would not have went in even if pad wasnt there, he lost the puck and it went straight across crease.

He has had a pretty up and down season early on in Stockton so far. Since winning this year is secondary to properly developing prospects I think they should let him get a little more settled down there first before bringing him up to this mess.

Russell and Wideman are playing almost exactly as they were last year, only now their inability to close the cap with offensive players is resulting in goals against
