#Habs announce lone lineup change tonight is Mike Condon in nets. So Alex Semin sits again, Paul Byron gets to face former team.

I haven't seen all the games but the ones I've seen, the team has looked bad with only one line that has had any chance of scoring. The effort has been terrible on occasions. On the other hand, I haven't really seen bad goals, other than the one Ramo let in at the end of the game against Winnipeg, from the goalies. Just average, non- "highlight reel save", goaltending.

The Flames would kill to be the Panthers right now.

Anyone want to trade for Luongo? Sv% .939. GAA 2.00
Good to see our resident Panthers fan sticking up for his team.

I want to see more of that top line. I like that line. The D looked better at times last game. I kind of like the Dougie-Engelland pairing. In a couple more games Gio and Brodie will be dominating again.

Habs win 4-2.

Well they didn't lose much by only giving him a million. Have fun in the KHL Semin.

Treliving will be waiting with a bag to grab Byron as he walks off after the game. Then we'll rename him so the Habs/nobody realizes.

We have TJ back, Hiller isn't starting, and we're facing the backup and team on the second of BTBs. I don't know why people are being so pessimistic.

Yeah. And if they replicate the effort of last game tonight I'd say they have a decent chance of coming out on top, being that they aren't facing Price.

If you didn't have Hiller's two minute implosion in the third you were probably walking out of Ottawa with a well deserved win.

I think Stajan is a much better centre than Backlund.

I'd like to see the bottom two lines as follows:

Grant-Stajan-Jones
Bolig-Backlund-Jooris

Keep Raymond off the roster (yes Bolig is a better option than Raymond, especially on the fourth line)

5-0 Habs

Byron scores all five goals on breakaways

When Bollig plays like he did in the playoffs last year he can be very useful. Played smart, used his size and didn't hurt the team. This season he has taken numerous stupid penalties and really hasn't done anything else noticeable.

Raymond isn't spectacular, but at least the dumb penalties should be minimal tonight.

Curious to see which Habs team shows up tonight - the one that looked like a 9-0 team to go up 3-0 or the one that gassed a big lead to the Grease.

I dunno, he pads the team's Corsi by taking snapshots from the blueline every time he gets the puck...that's gotta be worth something right? Advanced stats!

I personally would rather see Jooris sit than Bolig at this point. Jooris has been awful.
