I don't particularly like the game Raymond plays either, but Fraud artist is a bit much. He was on the down turn when he came here, so the management were hoping for a turn around then. Just because it didn't happen doesn't mean that the player is holding back of faking them out.

There is no question the guy is talented which is why the flames signed him... He looks like he is playing scared...or going through the motions... Or has completely lost his confidence... Only he knows for sure. He presented himself as someone deserving of the big money he is being paid and isn't living up to his part of the deal... perhaps Fraud artist is too harsh as it implies intent... my bad...so I retract that... but he still needs to go

He can go down at any time. The same happened to Micheal Ferland a few years ago, plus f.e. the Oilers sent down Drysaddle in the middle of the season too. It's a one-way street though - once assigned to juniors, he has to stay there until his team is done for the season(unless there's an emergency situation, like with Baertschi a few years ago).

AHL is the best place to go that is a pro league and under flames control.. They also have much better coaching than the ECHL.
I know what the AHL is about, the problem with Stockton for Kylington is that there is a log jam of defensemen.

Morrison, Kulak, Wotherspoon, Sieloff, Nakladal, Stevenson, Johnson.

He's going to be hard pressed to get 20 minutes a night which is what he needs. Ditto for Kanzig. You think Huska is going to be keen to let Kylington work out his mistakes? Yes his number one job is development, but i'm sure there's pressure for him to create a winning environment too. He misses the playoffs again, and he's probably gone.

Same thing goes for Carroll and Smith. There's a lot of forward depth in Stockton and a bunch of AHL deals too.

The key is to get these guys ice time, especially Kylington. He's only going to get 20 minutes a night in Brandon or Adirondack, and given the choice, I'd prefer him in Adirondack.

Maybe Kylington has jumped up the depth chart in the eyes of management? They might be looking to cut some defenders ice time in favor of him.

What they did last year was have a rotation of players playing. I think they had 10-12 defensemen in Adirondack last year, and they would have the prospects cycle through.

I'm sure that if Kylington is in Stockton the whole year that he won't likely play more than 50 games. That's actually a good thing because he can use more time in the weight room.
