Was a very odd HOH game -- the weaker players in the house clearly don't know who's actually in control. Clay didn't even play until there was what, 5 people left? And James throwing it away when he's been targeted a few weeks in a row? A James/Jackie HOH would've shaken things up, now Vanessa will take things over and it'll be the same usual people up on the block.

Well so much for that plan, lol. The BoB was very satisfying to watch.
It'll be nice to see Vanessa squirm with all her fears about getting blood on her hands. Something finally doesn't go in Clay and Shelli's way.
Austin is a legit creeper.

I don't know why James, Jackie, and John don't form an alliance, and bring in some of the floaters (Jason, Meg, Becky, Steve) and take out Clay this week, assuming he doesn't get taken off after the POV. They've got the numbers, even with Julia joining the BB house after the next eviction. Even with Jackie unable to play in the next HOH,
If Clay does get taken off the block, one of Shelli, Austin, Vanessa needs to go up as replacement nominee. This would be a good week for a big game move.

It all depends on the Veto competition, but I'm not sure where you get this from? Vanessa is HOH, so she can't go up, and there's no way she'd use Shelli as a replacement nominee over Jason, Meg, or Steve. Jackie was dethroned and can play in the next HOH. I'd say the plan is still to backdoor Austin, it just got a bit messier. A lot comes down to the Veto on Wednesday but this could be a big swing week if things don't go the main alliance's way.

I bet Vanessa freaks out from her paranoia and Austin ends up staying in the game.

This is what I'm betting on. She will never get blood on her hands. Creepy dude is staying.
Someone random who no one will care about like Steve will probably get booted this week.

I feel Vanessa is a good player but she really needs to stop being worried about getting blood on her hands. You can't win BB without doing it. Backdooring Austin really doesn't help her game as he's on her side. If she really wants to move her alliance forward she would target Jason regardless of the backlash because he's going to be coming after her, the twins, Shelly, and Clay regardless. Also you will never win Big Brother with that stupid "If you lie to my face you are done" act because everyone lies as it's part of the game and honest players don't win.
They are in a pickle now as even if she puts up say Austin against Clay I'm willing to bet half the house goes for the power move and evicts Clay. Her best bet it to put up someone like Jason against Clay as she's not only taking a vote away from the other side but he's an easy player to evict for her allies as Shelli's wanted to get him out anyway.

Jason is a dangerous player too -- he's probably one of the best players and the best at reading people in the whole house. He just got himself into a pickle off the start by aligning with some poor allies and his side of the house just hasn't been able to get into power.

I also honestly think their side of the house hasn't seen that the other side is aligned yet. It just seems like they have no idea...

Loving how the battle of the block turned out. Hopefully the noms stay the same and the other half of the house figures out what's happening. Clay needs to go

Also I think Vanessia is a very strong player. She's my pick as of now. Nothing seems to get past her.
Austin is a weirdo

Really stupid by Vanessa. Yeah you lost an alliance member if Austin goes but you lose a weak link. A 5 strong alliance is stronger then a 5 person and Austin. Guy is a complete spaz, blinded by what he thinks is love and can't keep his head straight.

Really hilarious that Austin can't see Liz is friend-zoning him.

As I said a few days ago evicting Jason was always the best move. He is the one player from the other side that was on the ball. Now who's going to be the mastermind of that group? Meg? I thought Steve was supposed to be this smart nerd but so far he's only shown to be a nerd and you almost forget at times he's in the game.
There's no downside of keeping Austin as he's going to be a target as will the twins so Shelli and Austin can stay low. Vanessa will have to do some damage control but now she's bolstered by Austin and the twin competing for HOH next week.
Austin isn't the sharpest pencil though. Eventually Liz is going to have to come clean that she's not into him and it will be interesting to see how he takes it because he's not taking any hints well.

Austin...ugh. If I was Liz I'd be terrified if I was stuck in jury with him.
Vanessa should've considered putting Steve up. I don't think anyone would care.
It would suck if Jason left but the good thing about this move is that it divides the house. It's better than having one dominant alliance running the house with everyone else oblivious.
And it's not a sure thing that Jason leaves either.
Votes against Jason: Clay, Austin, Shelli
Jackie, James, and Meg seem closer to Jason and I can see them vote to keep him over Becky.
Johnny Mac and Steve are unknowns and possible swing votes.
Tomorrows vote is going to be interesting.

Yeah, I see what you're saying and agree about Jason but they went all in with their plan to get Austin out, they needed to see it out at that point.
Vanessa just painted a huge target on her back.

Absolutely but it's a week to week thing in the house and she's going to have to pin her hopes on the numbers game and at least one person in her alliance becoming a HOH tonight and the odds are in her favor especially with Julia joining in.
