Would anyone be surprised if either game slips? I realize the goal is to ship the game in November but at the same time AC Unity proved that gamers won't buy it in big numbers of the past if the game launches unfinished. I'm really enjoying the Witcher 3 but man that game should have stayed in development for one more month prior to launch as I have a couple of quests I can't finish because of bugs.
Everyone expects any game Bethesda released to be in "public beta" form anyways so they definitely won't push back their release because of bugs
I'm surprised so many people care about backwards compatibility. Personally I have little interest going back to re-play games from previous generations when there are new and nicer looking games out on the new generation.
It's nice to go back and play older games. I went searching for Fallout 3 the other day, ended up by that, South Park stick of truth and CoD World at War. It'll be so much nicer using the Xbox One on these. My 360 is a cheap arcade version I bought late to replace one I dropped in a move, the wifi dongle is missing and I really don't want to do just bridge connection again to connect to xbox live.
Now I can hopefully just leave the 360 alone in the basement somewhere and use my Xbox one solely. Still some games like Borderlands and Sleeping Dogs (I think) and purchased but never played.
Also, will these e3 conferences be available on YouTube after they're live? Would like to see the Microsoft one but missed it.
Yeah, this is gonna take a while . . . it's a start though. I'm going to have to scale back the enthusiasm - thought it was basically real BC like the PS2/PS3.
I'm so done with CoD. Every game feels exactly the same.
I honestly can't remember the last one I played. And them still selling for close to what they did at launch on Steam makes my desire to play them even less.

Yeah it sounds like you put in your disc to prove ownership but have to download the games xbox one version

Yeah -- this is the kind of stuff that always bugs me with Microsoft announcements.
"Backwards compatibility! For some games. Eventually. Don't ask for details!"

I just think calling it "backwards compatibility" is kinda spin
the internet is going crazy with people saying the Xbox One is now backwards compatible but really that is not true.
You will be able to play emulated versions of some games in the near future but "backwards compatibility" would imply most game will work just but popping in the disc and that is far from the truth.
Its an interesting feature to be sure but, lets wait and see
MS said holiday 2015 for backwards compatibility launch, its clearly in preview state.
I'm not sure how that's any different from Playstation phasing in games on PS Now.
Its pretty fantastic they are going to be able to pull it off at all, it seemed like there was no way it would happen.
The internet -- cool things get announced, people whine.
