Rundblad played it too softly when he stood up at the blue, then wasn't strong enough on his skates once the puck worked back to Lindholm...he has a chance to block the shot, but Belesky knocks him down too easily...

'Hawks passing isn't great, after a long layoff, but, are generating more chances, and playing a lot in the Duck end...they need to finish their chances...

Good to see Romanuk is still working...

I just tune in and he's referring to Teravainen as Timonen.

It's okay to stop talking about how Calgary was dominated by Anaheim's cycle

The Hawk 4th line seems to be able to pin the Ducks in at will...they have been great all year, and will be the 'Hawk ace in the hole, that opponents can't seem to match.

Ducks got this series. They played like crap in that whole period other than a great PK and still came out with a lead. And we all know how great they are in 3rd periods.

Don't forget that the game is also on NBC.

Agree about Romanuk. I also don't get Sportsnet's insistence at constantly using the studio B team. Neither HNIC nor TSN had problems with one main team working nightly, covering several series.

Such a big difference in quality of analysis / discussion between the two panels they have for the remaining two series.

Boy the officials have let the Ducks get away with a lot of tripping and obstruction. Will be hard for the Hawks to win this series if the Ducks are allowed to maul them like this.

sloppy play by Beauchemin leads to Richards' goal 2-1 now

Why does Mike Johnson say "anether" instead of "another"? Such a weird mispronunciation.

Romanuk clueless yet again, doesn't understand pulled goalies late in a game.

Ducks EN goal.

I can't decide if I'd rather the Flames lost to the eventual Cup winner, or see the Ducks get beat by the Hawks.

I don't like either, but I guess I'd rather not see Chicago win a 3rd Cup in so few years? But then Kesler... Go Eastern Conference champ I guess?

I don't hate the Ducks for beat us. I think if they win the cup, they become a measuring stick for the Flames in future years, like the Pistons were for the Bulls, or the Red Wings were for the Penguins. If they lose this series, it means we're not only far away from winning a cup-level team, but even an also-ran.

So put me on the Ducks wagon. Also hoping Kane has less points on them than Gaudreau

A lot of 'Hawk fans are blaming Q for using Rundblad, but, he had to use SOMEBODY...

IMO, the weak link today was the Captain...he struggled with the puck in the O zone, and his turnovers killed sequences of pressure and possession...even on the rush, he was slow to react...there was a sequence with Kane and TT, where Toews failed to notice the touch pass that would have sprung him with a chance to tie the game.
Well, this was clearly a goalie win for them, as Andersen kept them alive when they couldn't clear the zone...they scored on a couple of broken plays...we need to attack the net with more urgency, the ENG occurred as we took too much time on the perimeter.
