Honestly, I don't think it matters at this point. The Wild got here on the strength of improved depth througout their lineup. So far that depth has been neutralized by Chicago regardless of the D-pair.

Chicago is the perfect foil for the Wild's roster and system and psyche.

And they're not even jerks about it. Beyond unsatisfying.

Would really be great if Minnesota could throw Calgary a bone and win the next couple of games before rolling over to Chicago. Can't give them too much rest.

Picked Wild for the win tonight. Expect to regret. Hoping for a pleasant surprise. Combined with my Flames pick tomorrow = good coin.

Wild starting from behind again. Yikes. Hawks just have their number.

In Minny on business and came to the game tonight. The building is spectacular however it's honestly like watching a random game in February. Totally lacks the energy, pace, etc of the two series the Flames have been in. Likely going to end tonight unless Wild pick up the urgency.

50/50 is at $9,500 at the end of 1.....

Shaw scores on the power play, 2-0 Chicago. Turn out the lights, the party is over.

Does anyone else think the Blackhawks and Flames play a similar style of hockey?

Absolutely. So similar. Only difference is Chicago is a bit deeper and better team. Definitely who I project the Flames to play like possibly as early as next year, but realistically in 2 seasons. Good days ahead for us Flames fans!

Yep, we've even got Kane and Toews junior on our team. Gaudreau even had the "steps" shaved into his head recently.

Yes, lots of people. It is the general consensus among fans and media (and very much my opinion)

I would just say experienced or even older instead of deeper, when healthy I would say Calgary is deeper on D and at the bottom end of the forwards. There are so many parallels up and down the roster though it is uncanny.
