playoffs are great ... the emotion a playoff series is second to none.
My 13 year old has never experienced this. Was 7 when they were in the playoffs and doesn't really have that "feel". Tonight he's going, which is essentially his first game.
To watch him depressed when the Flames were down in game 1, to elated they won, to thinking the Flames were dust after game 2, to thinking they can't lose after game three is both a blast to watch, and a big explanation point to drill home how we all rock back and forth in a series.
I still remember OT intermission of Game 6 of the 2004 SCF, we were in the concourse and you were on the phone to Mrs Bingo who was at home looking after your son and she relayed the message that on tv it looked like Gelinas had scored the infamous Cup-winning goal! Feels like yesterday.

Alright #Flames. Let's send @kbieksa3's old, slow, rather ineffective, shadow of his old self (and he knows it) ass one game closer to golf.

I doubt the Sedins see any more ice time than they have in the past three games. Vancouver stated that rolling four lines was the game plan and they seem to be sticking to it. Even stuff I've heard recently (mostly on the FAN), have guys saying that the Canucks are sticking with the short shifts and rolling all four lines.
I really don't see then changing from that strategy unless they get blown out tonight. So, I guess we'll see more Sedins in game 5!

Have a gut feeling that Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler break out tonight.

We have a ton of support from fans around the league pulling for us
Spoiler!

Yes, I'm also full-on bandwagoning Calgary in the West. Fast and furious, young team that takes no ****. Awfully stacked with real talent as well, I mean, who couldn't possibly love Gaudreau, Monahan and the likes?
Go Flames!

Definitely the best series thus far. Calgary is a fun team to watch. They have the type of work ethic and respect amongst teammates that you would want in a team. That's how Pittsburgh should play like. What an exciting team overall.

I must say I have underestimated the Flames here. Their youth is something to take note and Bennett is going to be something special. What an incredible talent.

I'd trade the Jets for the Flames straight up and feel like I'd made out like a bandit.

Bennett is very good.
Him and Johnny Hockey are going to light it up in Calgary for years to come.
Also, I want Ferland on the Jets. Play his roll perfectly. Can provide offense and gets in a lot of heads.

Calgary's the only other team I can cheer for in the WC. Love watching them play

Kane lite to Toews lite. 4-1 Calgary.

I'm cheering for the Flames...I respect Engelland and Bollig, Ferland reminds me of a young Lappy....Look at their D without Giordano? Wideman, Russell, Schlemko, and Brodie? Wow. Good for them.

Monahan has the potential to be Bergeron-esque. Great two way player. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious of what the Flames have in store over the next few years, but I guess it's their turn, like it was ours

Would love to see them win the cup

The Twitter profile says it's an avid Flames fan whose location is Vancouver.
This is actually the latest tweet from Hakan Look:

I am so shocked to see what is happening in Calgary! I wish you will all get out of this situation in good way and with good spirits!
Obviously tweeted with respect to the floods, but somehow equally poignant and relevant to tonight's game.
