Instigator (and it was) in the last 5 minutes of the game, I'd say Burrows.
Should be as well for Hamhuis (wonder if he played the deputy linesman card this time), but that one I can see, wrongfully, ignored, as that was a dirtier play.

A shot to that loser hamhuis head would be perfect what a cheap shot garbage player he is. Give back the gold medal embarrassing he was representing our country.
I love these wanna be tough guys on Vancouver. Don't suspend them it only hurts us, they are terrible hockey players and having them play only helps us.

I hope Bieksa isn't suspended. I want to see see him get dummied by Ferly.

Lifetime Suspension

What should happen?
Hamhuis was head hunting Bennett. This suspension has to happen, should be more than one game but would be amazed if it is.
Burrows and Bieksa? Dont think they will get anything. Should but wont!
Desjardin? 50k, its only fair, probably will get 10k!
Only justice I think we will get is winning this series!

Nope. We gotta do what we did tonight - Keep it physical, but keep it clean. Keep them running scared and bury goals.
We saw what happens tonight when Vancouver got running around. It won't work out any better for us. The best response is to win the series, then have Ferland wish Bieksa a happy spring on the golf course during the handshake line.

He gets a solid 3-4 punches in before Ferland has a chance to drop the mitts, then roars back just as the officials get there. Too bad.

It won't happen because Bieksa is the biggest spot picker in the NHL, but I really hope they square off for a fair fight next game. Ferland would wreck him.

Burrows for sure.
Hamhuis should but we'll see. Still voted yes.
Bieksa should but he didn't get an instigator so I think it's unlikely.

Hamhuis - 2 games for headhunting
Burrows automatic one game suspension for instigating a fight with less than 5 minutes left.
Desjardins should get fined $50K as well to even up. 2 Canucks was fighting one Flame and Bieksa sucker-punching Ferland when he turned around then try pulling him so he can give him more punching while the linesman is trying to hold Ferland.
But of course NHL Players Safety will let them get away with it.

I still have no Freaking clue how Hartley did anything wrong. He starts his 4th line. Why is that fine worthy? Tortorella was the one who escalated that by starting his goons and ordering them to fight our 4th line. Tortorella could have easily matched up his Sedins to go against an inferior line and go for a goal. VANCOUVER and Tortorella was the one to initiative the bad blood. Tortorella was the clown to try to enter our dressing room. But instead Hartley gets the bad rap for it. Doesn't make any sense.
Re: Playoff Gm 2 and Engelland
Engelland gets gooned into a 2-on-1 fight. Engelland somehow gets an instigator and 3 minsconducts. Hartley gets fined $50K because he's a repeat offender. EXCUSE ME? The refs got this completely wrong -- if they were properly doing their job, they should be there to break up the 2-on-1 fight instead of picking their noses. The league gets it wrong by somehow putting the blame on Engelland and Hartley. What a joke.
Re: Playoff Gm 3
-Hamhuis hits Bennett on the head. Unacceptable and should definitely be reviewed.
-Burrows hits Gaudreau from behind, then jabs at Russell's face 3 times before they drop the gloves. The instigator is 100% deserved, but I have a bad feeling it will get rescinded "because Engelland's instigator was rescinded." Which would be horsecrap.
-Bieksa similarly mugs Ferland, punches him with a bare fist 4 times before Ferland is able to lock him up and throw some punches back. Bieksa with a big stupid grin on his face. NO instigator for Bieksa, likely because he went after our 'goon' in Ferland.
Will the NHL properly assess the situation and fix this mess? I have no faith they will. Let the circus continue.

Lots of passion here. So we must be seeing some good playoff hockey.
I will be very surprised if there is any suspensions. Probably not even any fines. Perfect, that fits in with the disrespected underdog narrative we are all keen to cast for ourselves. It's playoff hockey and there is a certain amount of play on the boarderline of the rule book. Both teams have already crossed it and both will again.
Hamhuis' hit is a regular season 1 or 2 gamer but not now. Especially for a guy with no history and a solid reputation. I agree with many here that Bieksa in the lineup is advantage Flames. His skills have declined and the fact that a 25-game rookie playing less than 12 minutes a night is so in his head is great for us. Never a mensa candidate we can hope he continues to do foolish (but not injurous) things that hurt his team. Burrows is another candidate to hurt his team with stupid plays.
We can take it. If you've seen the post game interview with Ferland you can see that he had little problem with the fact that Bieksa knew they were going to fight several seconds before he did.
Love this team and their resilience.

I said yes, but part of me is resigned to the fact that the NHL lacks the balls to do it.
If Hamhuis does not get suspended for intentionally trying to give Bennett a concussion, then it's open season on every player for the rest of the series. Suspending him would be more for the Canuck's benefit than anyone else's.

Hamhuis should be but he wont, especially seeing as though they didn't do anything for him being the third man in for game 3. No one else really did anything worth a suspension. Canucks coach should get fined.

The question is
DO Burrows, Bieksa and/or Hamhuis get suspended?
Answer: No
Should they?
Hamhuis, unquestionably.
Beiksa, probably not.
I'd have to watch Burrow's again.

Hamhuis should but won't.
Bieksa, no - it was rough stuff after the whistle, but not anything too bad for playoffs.
Burrows - definitely instigated, but KR baited him a bit...I suspect that it's rescinded and nothing comes of it.
