IMO Granlund is in an unfortunate position. Good prospect, but no slot for him mainly due to size and style. 4th line seems a waste on someone like him. Is he going to replace Bouma or Ferland? No.
Wotherspoon is similar. Good prospect, but no spot for him as our #6/7. Main knocks on him is he's neither super D like Russel or offensive minded PMD like our top 3 + Wideman.
I don't think either player sucks, but I fear it's possibly a square peg round hole situation. They would be my personal candidates to move out as they have decent value and would gather better assets to store up for the future. Or, if the situation became so dire, they would be good candidates to use to have another team take on players like Raymond who again just doesn't play Hartley's style.
