Flames would have gotten into Dallas at a reasonable hour last night - before say 9pm CST and with a 7:30 pm CST puck drop tonite and no skate today they should be pretty well rested.

such a huge game. They need two points total from the this one and the Blues game next up to have a considerable chance at a playoff spot.
1-1 or 0-0-2 in the these two games should mean they only need to find 6 points in their final 4 games
Beat Edmonton and Arizona (and they had better or this whole things is a moot point)
then split the final two against LA and WPG

I BBQ'd steaks last night and the Flames won.
I'm BBQ'ing steaks again tonight. If they win, I'm BBQ'ing steaks again on Thursday.

In my mind when it comes to b2b games, it's more the bumps and bruises and sore muscles from going 100% in the last 20 mins of the game that affect players.
I think those types of things affect the players more on the back end of a b2b more so than the sleep pattern.
Getting in at a reasonable hour and staying at top notch hotels sure doesn't hurt though.

That's likely true. Hopefully the boys all had time to get a good massage this afternoon!

Just really hoping Ferland and Shore stay in and Bollig stays out.

I believe both of those young men had good games. Although not as tough as Bollig, Ferland ain't afraid of rough stuff, so I hope he answers the bell if the occasion arises.

I would hope that with Ferland just scoring his first NHL goal that Hartley leaves him in to see if he can have some follow up.

Whether they score or not, if you have three guys that good on the cycle it really effects the game.
1. it wears the opposition D out
2. it generates momentum for the next line
He has to leave them in.

Is Grannie in tonite?

Markus Granlund looks very good warming up. I wonder if he makes his way back in the #Flames lineup after warmup. A goal vs DAL on Wed.
