Watch, the Blues will now come in gangbusters against the Flames after losing to everyone else in the race.
Screw em. I hope they lose in the 1st round.

Subban made it 4-3, but, Stralman scores late as Tampa Bay won 5-3.
Canucks get another empty net goal and win 4-1.
Schultz scores, 2-1 Oilers.

Woot! I think we may be able to forgive the OOT just this once since it pulled through on the Kings game at least.

The Oilers score a pair of empty net goals and win 4-1 over the Avalanche.

a poster on hf LA is saying that the Kings still control their own destiny.
Huge loss by L.A. They just don't win important games. The fact that teams we're competing against always win against Nashville and St Louis really pisses me off.

Since the Kings have a game in hand and play the Flames once they do have control of their own destiny. If they win all their remaining games they are in the playoffs.

True, but at this stage points on the board are a bigger upside. The Kings have to make up those 3 points.

We do as well. As do the Jets. The Flames also control their destiny over the Jets.

4 isn't it, a tie does them no good as the Flames hold the tie breaker.

The Oilers win their third in a row tonight. They're now closer to Toronto and 27th place than they are to Arizona and 29th.
The win also gives them 59 points, which means this won't turn out to be the absolute worst season in Oilers' history. In 1992-93, they had 60 points in an 84 game season (0.714 points per game). Even if they lose out now, they'll have 0.720 points per game.
They're also now within 3 points of their totals in 2010 and 2011. So, there's still a chance they could turn this into the 4th worst season in franchise history.
