At that point Calgary would be done

He did go down a little easily...it was a one handed hook, with no pressure on the stick...and...the Jets get another gift PP goal.

Hawks just don't look scary at all. It's early but perhaps Kane is what stirs the drink in Chicago and not Toews.

"Bring back the Jets", they said. "It'll be awesome to have another Canadian team", they said. Was not awesome.

Because Toews is better as a two-way player, he gets all the press, however, there are few players as willing to take chances to create, as Kane does, which makes him a stellar playmaker, and the offensive driver for the 'Hawks.

Why would Calgary be done? They are tied with the Kings, and one point back of a Wildcard spot with 6 games to go.

These late OOT goals in periods are so deflating.

Silver lining to a Jets win...

If the Hawks lose tonight, they'll be absolutely desparate for a win tomorrow against the Kings. They can't afford to lose 2 games in 2 nights this time of year, with MIN passing them in the standings, and WPG only 2 points back. It'd be a tough game for LA to take tomorrow in CHI.

Could also help us in our game against Dallas tomorrow. The Stars only have about a 5% chance of making it as things stand now, and a Jets win tonight would all but eliminate the Stars from playoff contention. Would be deflating for that team, after how well they've played these last few weeks.
