Happy with Granlund tonight and he has points in all 3 games since Hartley challenged him to add offense. Ramo was really good, and I think the game might have changed if Raymond would have hustled back to cover the trailing man on the third goal but instead Raymond just coasted and got beat by him which led to the tip in. Maybe he could use a benching and bring in Ferland or Shore instead.

Other than that just hoping they keep playing hard and hopefully the results will come in the next few games.

Backlund is at worst a 3rd line center on most teams in the league...if we want to deal him teams will be lining up.

Not sure what you expect him to post if in your opinion he wrote them off in November. He's right. It's been a great run and I don't think any fan should be overly disappointed but the reality is that they are falling off the pace. Maybe you don't agree or posters stating the direness in the situation bothers you but that doesn't mean that other posters should keep their feelings to themselves. People handle disappointment different ways. Deal with it.

Honestly, this game and the game against St Louis are the ones on this road trip I had written down as losses. It still sucks, but I think they can still get 5-6 points out of the road trip. That will put them at 92-93 pts heading into Phoenix, who will probably be icing an AHL team at that point.

94-95 pts heading into games against LA and Winnipeg should make for a very exciting finish.

It was Monahan that let Koivu go on the third goal. Masonraymond wasn't on the ice.

Pretty easy for you to say and accept with your constant pessimism. You're another person who seems to derive zero enjoyment from anything hockey related. It's tiresome.

Hopefully Minnesota and Dallas can get wins tomorrow, making this loss not a major major problem. If Vancouver wins tomorrow, they'll have a nearly insurmountable 5 point lead.

Your constant attacks on posters here gets tiresome. Why not post something that contributes to the discussion at hand

You can take some of your own advice, as you're extremely hypocritical with your stalking of me. If you don't like when I question some people on their enduring pessimism, the ignore feature is very easy to use. You seem to be completely unaware that every time you whine at me you're doing exactly what you think you're accusing me of.

If we do end up outside the playoffs, we will be rewarded by the hockey gods with McDavid, just to stick it to the obvious tankers.

I spent less time lamenting this loss than the Stars SOL because I kinda wrote us off vs them tonight anyway, but I expected 2 pts out of the Stars game. Already getting pumped for NSH.

You've done it many times, and several in this thread alone. Once again, you're being hypocritical. This will be my last post to you on the subject. If you want to keep obsessing over me, feel free to send me a PM.

Its cause for the first time in a long time, out team is playing hard, it looks like a team that can do some damage and its a very likable team in general .... So we all want to see the reward for all of this in playoff. Its just fans being fans and being emotionally vested.

Lol. I would venture 100% of CP regular posters take great enjoyment from everything hockey related. Just because some posters don't see it your way does not mean they are not fans.
