Flames really need to win this game and take advantage of being matched up with teams they're several spots above in the standings.

Nice to see Jooris back. Hopefully he'll bring some of the energy he had earlier in the season when he was very important in keeping up momentum. I didn't see that much in Ferland's game to be honest.

Granlund with Bouma sounds really good to me.

I like the fact that Hartley called out Granlund to utilize his offensive prowess more in games. Seems like he has been hesitant to do so and now with a green light. I'm hoping he bursts out.

He's been conservative for sure.

Since he's not getting to shooting positions, playing on a line that crashes the net suits him best. He had one really good shift like that in the last game.

If folks want Granlund to play with net crashers - wish granted.

Also going to the game tonight. Can't remember if they have lost while I have attended. So there is that!

You can tell the Av's are not mathematically eliminated yet because Tanguay is still playing. As soon as they are out he will fake an injury and quit for the remainder of the season. Kind of surprised he already hasn't.

The one nice thing about the OOT matchups tonight is all our competitors are on the road. Even if they're playing pushover teams, you never know on the road I suppose.

And as I mentioned in the wild card thread, NJ is 10-4-2 in their last 16. That's better than LA's record

Good lord. The amount of hyperbole statements about Tanguay is sad.

And they get Cammy back tonight. He missed the last two games with the flu.

Carey Price's Young Guns card is probably worth pretty good money.

Damn.

I guarantee it's in rough shape.

Just checked quickly on google. Looks like $30 but some are fetching as much as $90.

Yup, just ask Habs fans and Thrasher fans. Oh, and if you watched the Flames play when he was here you would have seen it then too.
