That ending was soooo Baylor. Ron Hunter falling off his chair was amazing. March!

Yeah this one pretty much goes right to the top of the March Madness hierarchy of great moments.

After 3 games only 0.7% of ESPN brackets are still correct. March Madness indeed.

Another big collapse as SMU blows a 7 point lead with just over a minute left, plus a slightly controversial call to boot. Tons of heartbreak early on.

Too funny. CSU fans have been bitching and moaning nonstop about getting the "biggest snub in tourney history" and whining that UCLA made it instead. So of course #1 seed CSU promptly loses to South Dakota State in the NIT and UCLA wins to advance.

Crazy! I am 2-4 in my bracket, but 4-0 in this little game!

At this rate, I probably could have done a better job picking an NIT bracket this year.

I can't imagine how many entries there are in the ESPN pool. With 7 games in the books there are still 8,718 perfect brackets.

How is Harvard still in this game? March is so awesome.

Quick rough standings after day 1. Might have missed something as i breezed thru this. Obviously some people have fewer teams play than others so we will see what it looks like after Friday.

Spoiler!

I hope we didn't use up all our drama yesterday because today has been pretty boring so far. It also appears for the first time in a while a 12 seed will not beat a 5.

Solid win for Wichita State. Had some trouble early, but found some depth in Zach Brown and Fred Van Vleet just took over offensively. A little soft on the boards. That will be addressed.

I think the way Indiana plays is moronic. They speed up so much, they are out of control half the time. They have some athletes though and Yogi is fearless. I know who the better point guard is though.

On to the Jayhawks. SO PUMPED!

What a boring day. Very few close games, let alone upsets.

watched the Dayton Providence game last night. I don't know how that one Providence "star" wasn't punched out by his teammates for his shooting performance, which, if you didn't see was Rudy Gay-esque. 7 for 26, and that includes a couple of late 3s in the final 2 minutes when the game was out of reach.

In any event the crazy thing was that one of the commontators said that of the 11+ Million espn brackets which were filled out, there was 1 left that was perfect.

I feel bad for Providence. Cooley was the easiest to root for last year. Had to play an away game against a team seeded 5 seeds lower. The selection committee really screwed Boise State and Providence with their bracketing and seeding here. Providence got a bad whistle all night starting with an awful flagrant in the first minute and an absolutely ridiculous technical. Foul shots were 30-7.

More than happy to lose Arkansas. At times it wasn't pretty, but the Heels are still kickin'. Hopefully Meeks' knee isn't too bad.

i'll admit i don't watch March Madness every year but I do tend to catch at least a handful of games each year. Some year's i follow it very closely.

But I cannot recall the refereeing ever being this questionable, game after game. I'm not married to any team and just want to see good basketball so it isn't like ive got an agenda on this.

Even the commontaters are openly questioning the calls which is so rare to hear/see.

Brutal.

Imdont understand why fans and players of the bench shout "De De De Defence" football players do it too sometimes, it's stupid. Players know they're playing defence.

Also, timeouts, get rid of them. The only reason for timeouts in sports is that the coach thinks his players are so stupid that he has to draw up a play for them every time. Soccer has it's drawbacks, but at least I don't have to put up with timeouts in that sport.
