You're right, as much as people talk about the Flames record, Anahiems is even more unexplainable right now. Their record in one goal games is crazy and way beyond sustainable.
Anaheim is 23-0-7 in one goal games. A team with a goal differential like theirs(if you remove the shootout wins adding a goal they're only +3) should be a borderline playoff team not have a crazy lead on the division.
And as others have mentioned here goal differential is a WAY better predictor of the standings then any combination of corsi, fenwick, or PDO

I think Jem was referring to Anaheim playing 19 games in the extra frame with a record of 12-9. 12+9= ??

Anaheim doesn't have as good of a goal differential as you would think because they get blown out when they lose, while many of their wins are by slim margins.
Historically teams with the best differentials end up at the top of the standings. Too bad that isn't holding true for us to this point.
