The last time I saw him perform he tore apart the woman who took the comedian to the Human Rights Tribunal, and us as Canadians for letting it happen. It was amazing.

Speaking of amazing, Patton Oswalt has weighed in on the controversy via Twitter.

Stewart said on last night's show his final three guests will be Amy Schumer, Dennis Leary, and Louis CK.

I guess Colbert's likely busy prepping for the new show, as I assumed he'd be the last guest. Although, I guess it's more important that Jon is Stephan's first guest than Stephan being Jon's last, as the Daily Show really made Colbert.

My understanding is that the final show doesn't have anything confirmed, and is scheduled for 50 minutes. So I think on the 6th we'll see guys like Colbert and other Daily Show alumni

I've found this second to last week was really strong in the comedy bits.

Is Stewart doing anything after he's done with the daily show?

^^^ I think he wants to get into filmmaking, his experience making Rosewater seemed to whet his appetite even though it didn't do well. But he's been talking about taking some time off to begin with.

Opening a farm for orphaned animals or something like that. Seriously.

Should be a great week. I love Leary and Louis CK. Hopefully they have a Lewis Black segment as well.

I've set-up a PVR recording for this week's shows. I watched The Daily Show regularly for years, and haven't done so for years, but this week seems like it will be something worth seeing. It's going to be weird without Jon Stewart around as much.

I hope that was actually Arby's who did that because that would be awesome.

Thats awesome. So many companies would have been screaming their heads off, a little self-deprecating humour is in order now and then and this shows me that Arby's has a sense of humour.

I'm still not going to eat there.

It was a good interview with Louis CK, it was basically just 2 buddies chewing the fat, but Louis did say something that I particularly agreed with:

He told Jon Stewart that on behalf of Comedy he had done something historic.

It was exceptional to watch Stewart's reaction to Steve Colbert thanking him on behalf of everyone that worked on the show. Stewart must be the most humble man out there.

That was a great finale. It was so great to see all of the old correspondents too.

I'm going to miss Jon so much.

Man with integrity and values, so rare in his and our world. I watched that part intently. The part that chokes him up is when Colbert says his thanks for respecting everyone. You can tell that means a lot to him. It means a lot to me too. Just awesome to see a good guy win.
