Can't miss two FGs by much less than the Spartans kicker has so far. Tough. Fun game so far.

Well, there's one ACC referee who won't be reffing a big game until the end of time. What a blown call on that onside kick.
Any predictions on the final four? I'm thinking it'll be Clemson, 'Bama, Michigan St, Oklahoma in that order. Any disagreements?

I would agree with that order for sure, though in my mind I believe that OK is playing the best football out of all of them.

Well.... he did make the ACC 6 million dollars by ensuring they sent a team to the playoffs!

They didnt have a previously undefeated Iowa ahead of Oklahoma, so I doubt Mich St goes to 3 and rather slips into 4.
edit...i was so wrong, thought the rankings came out tomorrow, teach me to google stuff before I post

I like OU to win it all. Dynamic on both sides of the ball. Looking forward to watching the playoff.

So I'm watching the Army/Navy game (lots of pomp and circumstance stuff going on...very cool tradition) and I will be damned if there isn't a WR for Army named....
Edgar Allen Poe.
Wasn't sure I had heard it right so I goggled him and..

and Henry wins it. Pretty fitting since he pretty much carried Bama into the playoffs.

So semi-final day/night. Who ya got?
I have to think that OK wins just because they were playing the best ball in the country when the season ended and Clemson always loses big games, but this ridiculous month long break kind of evens things out.
Also Saban has had a month to prepare for Mich St and that likely means bad news for Sparty.
It also never ceases to amaze me how often these college guys just don't/cant control themselves at some of the most critical stages of their careers. Yet another example surfaces this morning...
Quote:
TCU star quarterback Trevone Boykin arrested after allegedly striking a bicycle patrol officer in San Antonio early Thursday morning following a skirmish outside a popular local bar. He was later suspended by the Horned Frogs, which coach Gary Patterson announced via press release.
Schlabach reports that Boykin was still being held at the San Antonio Magistrate as of Thursday morning and has been charged with a third-degree felony for assaulting a police officer as well as charges of resisting arrest and public intoxication. His bond was set at $5,000.
Boykin, one of the best players in college football, is a senior who will enter the 2016 NFL Draft this offseason. He threw for 3,575 yards and 31 touchdowns during an injury-plagued season.

As an Alabama fan, I'm pretty nervous. The team just can't seem to win a bowl that's not the National Championship.
I also want no part of OU, because we just can't beat them ever.

It pretty much looks exactly like last year: A Big 10 team with a bad loss that is considered overrated against the SEC kings, and an undefeated ACC team against an explosive offensive team with one loss from a conference that doesn't play defense. Alabama should beat Michigan State easily, Oklahoma-Clemson is a really tough game to call but I'll go with Clemson.

This is like a second Christmas for me! BOOMER SOONER! It's still ridiculously stupid they didn't give Oklahoma the cotton bowl! It would have been nice to see them play a meaningful game where it was basically a home game to them.
Here are a few big bowl games for Oklahoma where the opposing team had a home game:
2000 Orange Bowl Nat'l Championship game in Florida vs Florida State
2004 Sugar Bowl Nat'l Championship game in New Orleans vs LSU
2009 BCS National Championship game in Miami vs Florida
2013 Sugar bowl in New Orleans against Alabama.
I mean Oklahoma travels well but it would be nice to see them play a game like in Dallas. Where we could have a Sea of Red... or Crimson I guess.

Top it off with a crappy punt. The Clemson QB reminds me a lot of Manziel. Tons of talent, can throw, but really dangerous bc he runs.

Haven't you had your day in the sun? The only bad thing about Alabama this year is they are so one dimensional on offense. It's one hell of a dimension but it's all you have.
