Pretty cool that Evans broke the single season scoring record and didn't even need the extra two games to do it. No asterisk.

Kinda off the radar with no home game in a couple weeks, plus everything else sportswise this weekend, but the 'Necks have a 'win and in' game tonight against Vancouver. It's available to watch online at TSN.ca

Riggers are playoff bound. Great game - Calgary with a horrible start to go down 4-0 but come back to win it 14-13. Jeff Shattler, who had a bad season, steps up huge with 8 points - and Frankie makes a save on Duch with 10 seconds to go to save the season.
No one wanted to see the Riggers get in. Calgary v. Colorado in the first round.

So it's a one-game playoff in the first round, Two-games (with a mini-game if necessary) in round 2, and a best of three for the final?

Yup exactly. I hear there is some possible strangeness with Edmonton's home-floor advantage and that they want the first game in Edmonton, because of the long weekend - which means they would play the 2nd game AND the mini-game on the road.
Unconfirmed but that's the rumor.

That would be kind of dumb if they end up facing us.

Roughnecks dominating the third quarter in Denver. Shots are about 14-3 right now. 9-4 the score with 7 minutes left in the frame.

Blizzard in Denver mucking with the lights... Game is delayed with Calgary leading by 4, less than 8 minutes left.

Stamps win the cup
Hitmen to East Final
Roughnecks so far to West Final
Flames so far West Semi-Final
Lots of playoff action on Calgary this year.

It is also confirmed that the first game of the series with Edmonton goes next Friday in Edmonton. That means the 2nd game, and potential mini game, would both be in Calgary the following weekend.
I've been unable to track down why Edmonton is doing this - I'm not sure if it is because of a building conflict or what. They have an event in there next Saturday, but that would still leave the Friday date potentially open - unless they can't turn it quick enough for "Stars on Ice" on Saturday.
The other possibility is that they feel that starting on the road is a disadvantage - that they want to host the first game to apply the pressure onto Calgary. I'm not sure if I agree with that though.
Anyways the cool thing is we get the pivotal game here in Calgary.

Down 3-0 early, need the next goal. Light crowd in Edmonton given they were best in the west.
