It's a good think to get rid of the "puck first" part of the tripping rule. Leads to more penalties/penalty shots for desperate plays. As for the hand on the faceoff rule change it was designed to reduce show scrums on the faceoff. I'm fine with it

The Toyota Camry is very BOLD and unexpected. Like seriously. Who knew you could own a Camry AND be a drummer. Mind. blown.

LOL, I've been waiting for Pylon to post this since the game started.

Well at least they're getting some more time in the offensive zone now. 4th line in particular has had a few good shifts of pressure in the Islanders end.

It was also getting ridiculous. Defenders knew, and they were hitting the puck first, but they were definitely taking the guys out purposefully too.

Flames have picked it up a bit. I'm pretty sure I saw them win a few puck battles over the last couple of shifts. It's a start.

You know we kinda have 2 4th lines right now, be nice in a couple years when we've got a few more skilled guys up to push some of those 4th liners back down to the 4th line.

They still need to reverse D to D more, the NYI's aggressive forecheck seems to only have momentum in one direction. Opens up more space for the first pass out.

I LOVE a perfect puck first poke check tackle from a defender! And substituting the faceoff-man would be enough punishment for such a minor thing as touching the puck with a hand I think.

I thought all drummers drove Camrys. Isn't that a rock'n'roll standard?
