Just want to mention that I'm currently streaming the game, on a cruise ship, in the middle of the Caribbean, from my iPad, onto my stateroom tv, with 6 other flames fans.

I frikkin love technology!

Oh and this game has been great so far, lotsa energy. Just need goals!

I know there's a stat out there that actually tracks scoring chances based on who carries the puck across the offensive blue line but I don't know what it's called.

With Johnny it's practically every time he is the guy carrying the puck across the blue line a play is set up for a quality scoring chance. It seems like prudent coaching and not fanboyism to plan the offensive attack around that.
It really has been fun to watch. As much as we want to over-rate our guys, I'm in SW Ontario and people are messaging me about how awesome this kid is.

When we played Toronto I obviously got blasted with messages. But pretty much all of the Leafs fans took a sec to ask about this kid. One guy was like "wait a minute... is THAT the kid who destroyed us at the Worlds?! I HATED that kid! I've never hated anyone at Worlds as much as I hated him, can't believe he's a Flame."

Edit: As I hit 'Save'... SN starts featuring Johnny. Creepy.

No surprise, Russell loses his man.

Why is Hartley starting our 4th line in our own zone, awful decision.
