Of course Mr. Hockey doesn't know about the curse. Mr.Hockey has not played in the NHL for decades.
Mr. Hockey retired in 1980. The name Mr.Hockey (as well as Mrs. Hockey) are registered as trademarks of the Howe family.
I know you meant Johnny hockey but still.

Flames are down 4-0 going into the third. They score 5 unanswered capped off by a high, "lob" shot from Hiller that fools everyone on the ice. A Ducks fan throws their jersey on the ice, symbolizing the end of the Honda Centre curse and the beginning of the Ducks spiral into mediocrity. They finish the season above only Edmonton and win the draft lottery. They trade their first overall pick to Calgary for Hiller. Calgary drafts McDavid. Hiller refuses to report for training camp in Anaheim next season. He fakes his own death and rejoins the Flames as a little known, undrafted dark horse by the name of John Hill.

I remember the hawks coming back 5-0 on us but it wasn't a playoff game.. I left in the 2nd period to go play floor hockey, come back to a message on my answering machine with someone saying, wow can't believe they lost 6-5.. I was so pissed.

Ya, that was one of the Rob Kerr cursed PPV games. I think it took them 6 or 7 minutes to get the PPV working, the Flames had already scored like 4 goals. the TV came on just on time for the brief excitement of a 5 goal lead, before it got worse, worse, worse...........
