This Flames team is just so much fun to watch right now. It has been an awful long time since I've spent all game day excited to watch like I am now. I know there is some inevitable regression coming in save and shooting percentages. But I think this teams work ethic will continue and I hope they keep surprising me. There are certainly some pieces here for the future and I think this is a better team right now than I was giving them credit for. Just can't afford any injuries to the top 4. That third pairing is just scary bad most every night. Go Flames!!

Big game from Setoguchi tonight.
This just to further cloud matters on where to put people when bodies return.
Sven gets a couple assists.

Quoted for truth...Jooris and Johnny are proof that if Sven wants to, or is able to, he can turn this around in a hurry.

The are also proof of earning the rewards.

Im hoping he can give Sven the same opportunity.

Byron just needs to convert on one of the 3 breakaways per game he gets and he'll be fine...he's the least of my worries of that line.
Better to keep the disease isolated to one part of the body than having it spread throughout.

Is Gaudreau in? Or is he out with the flu this time?

#Flames Johnny Gaudreau not 100 per cent yet. But good to go tonight.

Those pictures highlight just how great the alternate logo is. Would be much better on the primaries than the flags that won't go away.

This is such a statement game for the Flames. The bolts are amongst the toughest competition we've faced this year. The result will say a lot about what tier of teams the flames are a part of.

He's supposedly better than last game though.

#Flames lead the NHL in third period scoring with 17 goals and in 3rd period goal differential with a +10

OT but does anyone know where to buy the 3rd shoulder patches? I've looked online but had no luck but would stop by Fanattic or whatever when I'm home if they have them. Thanks.

Hopefully we see something from Sven tonight. Seems like he keeps slipping further and further down our prospect depth chart. Think he just needs to get some confidence.

Wow, couldn't disagree more. Hate the alternate New Jersey (pun intended) and especially the shoulder patch. I like the flags.

Each their own I guess.

The logo on the front of the alternates would look good on the back of a jacket or something, I just don't like it on the jersey.

I love the comments by Hartley on Jooris, but I loved how accountable he was going to Hartley and asking to see the play he got mixed up on and asking him to teach. Incredible character from that kid right now.

Also, can't get enough of him referring to a hard skate as "Fred and Barney". That image is too perfect in my brain.
