That was before tonight's game, I think he's only been on the ice for 2 goals against but you can tell Johnny is trying to play solid defensively but I think he's thinking too much about it. his game is offense and I can;t wait till he gets the confidence to go hard in that area.

What?

St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Coumbus, Tampa, and even Vancouver are average to above average

Edmonton, Carolina, Winnepeg kinda suck but by no means have the Flames had an easy schedule come on now

not to mention 6 game road trip and 2 back2backs

We say Edmonton is no good but Carolina is just a bunch of broken 2nd hand toys right now. Horrible team.

East no good Vs. West no good is a whole different ball game

Washington and Tampa just lost to the Oilers...they are supposedly good over there

I may have got the first part wrong but the curse didn't prevent Hiller from getting the shutout

The Canes looked like the Washington Generals out there. What a beating.

its not only for signing overpriced vets... they elected to keep guys like Orr and McLaren on the roster over Colborne and then waived them and sent them to the AHL the next season

Too bad we can't play Carolina 70 more times this year...
If I was McDavid i'd worried that the Canes might finish last and pick him.

How awesome has the goaltending been so far in this young season?
Absolutely amazing!
Granted, Hiller wasn't exactly overworked tonight, but 99 saves out of the last 101 shots??? Outstanding!

With the Flames having two very solid goaltenders putting up incredible numbers, what should be a slow, difficult-to-watch rebuild, has instead transformed into something more exciting and interesting to watch... A developing team that has complete confidence in their keepers, thereby allowing them to fully develop their game and maximize their potential.

Right now, the Hiller signing looks like it may be one of the top, if not THE top, free agent signing of the summer. Ramo's been great too, but having a tandem like this is something that Flames fans haven't experienced.... well, ever?

If the Canes are "the bar" for how bad you need to be for McDavid..... No thanks.
