Beautiful, it is on. Had to tune to it two times in order to get it to work. Should be much better than MNF.

There are five regional Habs games on City Montreal this October and November due to the baseball playoffs and Thursday night NFL games. These games are on Centre Ice only for those west of Ottawa.

The free Centre Ice promo in Canada ends on Wednesday and on October 25 in the USA.

After one period, the Lightning lead 2-1 over the Habs.

It is still scoreless in the Senators-Panthers game.

for shame Florida. You know, Austria is not a hockey country at all (not sure if it even makes the top 10 sports in popularity over here), but there are second league teams (!) over here that are able to draw 1500-2000 people every game, and that's a hell of a turnout given how small most of the towns are and how bad the quality of the product is when you compare it to top European leagues. In comparison, the fact that a team in the best league has an attendance like that almost seems impossible. Just relocate them already.

in other Florida news, Stamkos and Hedman are fantastic.

Hedman and Stamkos, what a pair of players Tampa have.

There is no way under this scenario that Vancouver would not be in the division with Edmonton and Calgary instead of Las Vegas. I could even see Seattle coming with them and having Vegas and Colorado grouped with the California teams.

Out of curiosity I checked out the Montreal CTY on Bell and you're right, it's blacked out for those of us out west.

Hedman is so good. He needed a few years to realize his potential, but it's been worth the wait for the Lightning.

Why isn't Subban wearing an A? I'm going to guess he only wears it at home?

Montreal crumbling. Subbans play on the 5th goal was pitiful.

Florida attendance tonight announced as 7,311. Lowest in Franchise history as per George Richards.

From the looks of that Buffalo game they got 30th place wrapped right up. Outshot 44-12 losing 5-1. Sure the Ducks are elite but that is a pathetic display

Lots of stuff nearby too, we had dinner at Sawgrass Mills across the street. Pubs, shopping, restaurants. Too bad fans just don't care in Fort Lauderdale.
They might have a fighting chance if they were right in Miami. Putting the arena where it is doesn't make any sense to draw hockey fans.

And Tampa is nowhere near the Panthers.. its a big state and people in Tampa wouldn't drive to Sunrise to watch a hockey game.
