Who do we hate less? Vancouver lost Torts and Kesler, but still has the sisters and Burrows. Edmonton is Edmonton, you kind of feel bad for them but then you remember they don't deserve it

Can they both lose?
Personally I always hope for them to beat the absolute piss out of each other, no matter the outcome.

Found it funny that Eakins apparently insisted that the Canucks are a bigger rival for the Oilers than are the Flames. They've had some heated games sure, (who hasn't) but bigger than the BOA - give me a break.

All of that said, this has been a very entertaining game, and as much as I hate to say it, the Oilers look pretty good. But both teams are still no good.

Suspension?
Hmmm.... Elbow to the shoulder and forearm to the chest? Player not injured should not be a major. This is where the NHL should simply adopt the head contact rule like hockey canada has. A 4 min dbl minor would be sufficient, but the refs do not have that option the NHL.

However the look on Roy's face makes me like the call

The Edmonton "stars" have the worst hockey sense. Ederle turning it over at the blue line instead of flipping it deep while all his teammates are wholesale line changing. Hall in his own zone is pure comed, he's all over the place.

Yeah I doubt it's a suspension. Looked like head wasn't primary point of contact, no injury, 5 and a game is plenty for that.

I know it's the Oilers...but it's also the Canucks. Anytime a Canuck catches some fists in the face, I'm a fan of it. Good on ya RNH.

The Canucks annoy the hell out of me. They have a goal that flat out shouldn't have counted.
