Elite does not equal superstar or the overused generational talent.

Defensively, he is borderline elite. Look at his numbers, traditional or advanced. Look at him skate away from forecheckers, or keep a puck in at the blueline. Look at him play, so solid, great decisions.

Chara is a hall of famer, don't go overboars.
