I wouldn't be so sure, I thought the same thing about the Angels and Tigers in the ALDS.

Kansas looks like the 04 Flames. Not a star studded team but they play as a team and they got hot at the right time.

The Angels were banged up. Hamilton was terrible but hes not 100% and Richards and Skaggs are both out which didn't help their pitching (which lost them the game tonight). CJ Wilson is public enemy #1 tonight.

Disappointing end to a fantastic season as the best team in baseball in the regular season. Hoping my boys can build on this for next year and go into the playoffs healthy.

Officially on the "anyone but the Dodgers" bandwagon.

At least one evil empire is going down in the Cardinals and Dodgers series. All the other teams are likeable.

Those big deadline moves for Lester and Price ultimately did not help either of those clubs this year. No doubt Oakland got too sabremetric and didn't realize the impact of taking a power bat out of the middle of their lineup even though his advanced stats were pretty average. Detroit, again, lost Austin Jackson and Drew Smyly in the Price deal. What could they have done had they kept those two players and traded minor leaguers for some relief help.

Realistically that whole series changed when Ausmus took Anibal Sanchez out of game 2. I don't see why he didn't at least bring him out for the 8th inning. Personally I would have tried to get 4 innings out of him to finish that game.

Good for KC though, they have been collecting players for years, and finally Gordon, Moustakas, and Hosmer are all hitting at the same time. There is talent on that team, but they haven't been able to put it together for years.

I, personally, think it's awesome that the Moneyball team got smallballed to death.

Well, the Dodgers lost, so that's one of the three things I'd like to see tonight. The other two are a Giants win, and Ryan Reynolds.

you suck Royals. All that first out had to do was have the batter not swing at garbage and they'd be at least one run up right now.
