Bring back Baton Rouge too! Choked they took it out of Quarry Park.

I hope they do put together a world class entertainment area with shopping, restaurants, football and hockey facilities, etc. I'm tired of big events passing us by because of the Saddledome. And have some huge acts/events come to Calgary to play in the stadium like AC/DC, U2, etc... maybe SummerSlam or even an exhibition NFL game one day. Every time I go to Edmonton I get jealous of Commonwealth. I want something like that!

Would definitely help with the economy and put Calgary on the map as a place where people want to come.

It'll be built with that as a consideration for sure. You have to think that if they're dumping a billion plus into this entertainment district, they're going to need to maximize every drop of home field revenue they can get out of it
